Please check the description of my products for full sizing details and the pictures for sizing charts, but here's a rough guide for our best selling items:
Shoes:
The following sizes are of the sole of the shoe - not your child's foot.
Soft soled. Made in 4 sizes:
0-6 months 11.0cm/4.3inch
6-12 months 11.8cm/4.6inch
12-18 months 12.6cm/4.9inch
18-24 month 13.4cm/5.3inch
Hard soled. Made in 4 sizes:
6 14.2cm/5.6inch (fits an average 2 year old)
7 15.0cm/5.9inch (fits an average 2.5 year old)
8 15.8cm/6.2inch (fits and average 3 year old)
9 16.6cm/6.5inch (fits an average 3.5 year old)
To choose the right size shoe it is important that you measure your child's foot.
- Measure your child's foot from heel to toe, while they are standing. An easy way of doing this is to have your child stand on a blank piece of paper and mark at the toe and the heal and measure.
- Add about 1cm to the length to the length of the foot and choose the shoe accordingly. This will allow room for growth and to wiggle those little toes.
- I recommend sizing up in our boots as they tend to be a smaller fit because they close around the ankle.
Pinafores.
These are a generous fit. If you want it to fit well you may want to size down. If you want room to grow I would purchase the current size your child wears.
Long sleeves.
These are much more fitted especially around the chest. We recommend sizing up, especially if you want to allow room to layer long sleeves underneath.
